2012 Year of the Dragon:

The year 2012 is the start of a new era.  It is a time of change and new beginnings.  The page turns to a new chapter in life. The Dragon emerges from the earth after being underground for a long time.  After 12 years underground it breaks out, it makes its presence known with much noise and great movement, bringing earthquake, flood, and cataclysmic change. 

From 1984 to 2043 is the sixty year cycle.  One cycle consists of twenty years. The year 2012 is the last of the three sixty year cycles. The end of the 180 year cycle brings revolutionary changes to the world.  There is movement away from the commercial towards the ecological, a green movement.  After year of chemical and genetic engineering people want organic and natural.  The social-economic changes require people to think differently. In order to be in harmony with the changing times one cannot think the same way anymore.  One must be humble and open to change, not arrogantly insisting on things the way they were.

We are fortunate to have guidance in our lives that utilizes not only one life time of experience but 64 generations of experience. Having faith that all will be well is comforting. Knowing the currents and storms of life allows the power of self determination.
